Feature Film Accelerator

Attention: Filmmakers

You've spent years—maybe even decades—preparing for a career that keeps moving further away.

More acting classes. Another screenplay competition. One more short film. Endless auditions where you're competing against 4,000 other actors for roles that don't even excite you.

You've been told to "pay your dues." To "build your resume." To "network your way in."

And it's all a lie designed to keep you paying into a system that will never pay out.

Here's the truth Hollywood doesn't want you to know:

Every A-list filmmaker working today started with a micro-budget feature film as proof of voice—not with permission, not with investors, and definitely not by winning screenplay competitions.

  • Christopher Nolan made Following for $6,000.
  • Greta Gerwig made Nights and Weekends for $15,000 before directing Barbie to over $1 billion.
  • Sean Baker shot Tangerine on an iPhone before sweeping the Oscars.

They didn't wait for the industry to notice them. They made the industry pay attention.

And in the next 90 days, you're going to do the same thing.

You already know what you need to do

Somewhere deep down, you know the truth: No one is coming to save your career.

Not the casting director who keeps calling you back but never books you. Not the producer who "loves your script" but never returns your emails. Not the film festival that rejected you for the third year in a row.

The only person who can greenlight your career is you.

But here's what stops most filmmakers from actually doing it:

  • "I don't have enough money to make a real film"
  • "I need more training before I'm ready"
  • "I don't know the right people"
  • "My idea is too big to shoot without a budget"
  • "What if I make something and it's not good enough?"

These aren't real obstacles. They're the stories you tell yourself to avoid the one thing that terrifies you most: proving whether or not you actually have what it takes.

Let me save you years of pain and tens of thousands of dollars: You do.

You just need someone who's already done it to show you the exact path forward.

Emily — award-winning filmmaker

Case Study

From Zero Production Experience to Award-Winning Filmmaker

Emily was a stay-at-home mom for 20 years. She loved acting but thought she'd need years of auditions and classes to break in.

Instead, she went from zero production experience to writer/director/lead actress of her own feature film in 6 months.

Her film has been accepted to multiple festivals and won Best Independent Film at the Los Angeles Women's Independent Film Awards.

Weeks 1–13 · Phase 1

Foundation: From Blank Page to Shoot-Ready

This is where most filmmakers get stuck. They either write something too big to shoot, or they waste months second-guessing their story. We eliminate both problems.

Phase 1 · Foundation

Weeks 1–2

Story Development Around YOUR Artistic DNA

We don't help you write "a film." We help you identify the story only YOU can tell. Your film must function around your unique voice, resources, and vision. This isn't about compromise—it's about strategic creativity.

Story Circle · Your Artistic DNA

Weeks 3–8

The Writing Process

  • Weekly small group intensive calls with your cohort
  • 2x weekly mastermind calls with all program levels for real-time problem solving
  • Story Circle & OGF AI script development tools
  • Three rounds of personal video feedback from AJ on your script ($1,950 value)

You'll complete your first draft by Day 60, revised script by Day 75.

Weeks 3–8 · The Writing Process

Weeks 9–13

Pre-Production Pipeline

Weeks 9–13 · Pre-Production
  • Build your "talent pool"—cast and crew excited to work for opportunity, not paychecks
  • Lock down contracts (we provide all legal templates)
  • Form your production company (we walk you through every step)
  • Scout locations using what you already have access to
  • Schedule your shoot dates within the 90-day window

In just 90 days, you will have:

  • A shoot-ready script designed specifically for your resources
  • A confirmed cast and crew
  • Locked shoot dates (typically 5–8 days, up to 12 for certain projects)
  • All legal paperwork completed
  • A production company formed
  • Zero excuses left

Most students shoot their film between days 90–120. Our superstars shoot right at day 90.

Production

Days 90–120 · Phase 2

Production: Get It On Film

This is it. This is where you step into your identity as a bonafide feature filmmaker. You'll shoot your feature film over 5–12 days (depending on your specific project).

By Day 120, you'll have:

  • Raw footage of your entire feature film
  • Principal photography completed
  • The invaluable confidence of someone who's been through the fire

But you won't be alone. During production, you also get:

  • Bi-weekly mastermind calls that continue throughout production
  • Real-time problem solving with AJ, alumni filmmakers, and current students
  • Access to our network of specialists when you need expert guidance
  • On-set support to troubleshoot challenges as they arise

Months 5–12 · Phase 3

Post-Production & Distribution: From Footage to Festival to Future

Most filmmakers think the work ends when they yell "cut" on the last day. That's when the real work begins. This is where we separate filmmakers who make "a film" from filmmakers who build careers.

Post-Production · Months 5–8
  • Bi-weekly mastermind calls with expert guidance
  • Editing, sound design, color grading, VFX support
  • Flexible timeline based on your project's complexity
  • Community support for finding skilled collaborators
Festival Strategy & Distribution · Months 9–12
  • Complete festival submission strategy guide
  • Film packaging and distribution training
  • Marketing through One Grand Film's network (5,500+ followers)
  • Custom film landing page on OneGrandFilm.com for credibility

By Month 12, you will have:

  • A completed, festival-ready feature film
  • A distribution and marketing strategy
  • A professional film landing page
  • Festival submissions in progress
  • A repeatable system to make your next film

You're Not Just Getting a Program.
You're Getting a Team.

This isn't some pre-recorded course where you're left to figure it out alone. You get direct access to:

AJ Rome

AJ Rome

Program Creator & Lead Mentor

20+ years of filmmaking experience. Made 2 feature films in 2025 alone, with multiple 7–8 figure films in the pipeline. AJ has spent 12 years learning what doesn't work and 8 years perfecting what does. He's not teaching theory—he's teaching from active, current experience.

Isaiah Laborde

Isaiah Laborde

Production Expert

Over 20 feature films produced. Isaiah knows how to stretch a dollar, build a crew, and solve on-set problems in real-time.

Ryan Dufrene

Ryan Dufrene

Post-Production Expert

Has edited films with budgets up to $18 million for Hollywood studios. Ryan understands how to make micro-budget films look and feel like they cost 100x more.

Plus: Guest Industry Professionals & Alumni Community

You'll have access to specialists across every aspect of filmmaking—and more importantly, you'll join a community of alumni filmmakers who are actively making films and building careers together. This is the network you've been trying to build for years. You'll have it in 90 days.

A Hollywood-Level Producing Team on YOUR Film…
But You Keep 100% Ownership.

In the traditional model, if you want experienced producers, editors, and industry veterans on your project, you either give up equity and creative control, pay tens of thousands in fees, or spend years "earning" their attention.

With the Feature Film Accelerator, you get the guidance and expertise of a full production team without giving up a single percentage point of your film.

  • Your story.
  • Your vision.
  • Your ownership.
  • Your future profits.

We're here to help you build YOUR career, not take a piece of it.

But Here's the Real Question You're Asking…

"Why would I spend money on a program instead of just making my film?"

Fair question. Here's the honest answer:

Most filmmakers who try to do this alone waste $40,000 to $100,000 making a film that doesn't open a single door. They write a script that's impossible to shoot without money. They don't understand contracts and lose rights to their own film. They shoot something that looks amateur. They finish the film but have no idea how to get it in front of anyone who matters.

Then they're broke, burned out, and further from their goals than when they started.

The Feature Film Accelerator is designed to help you make your film for $1,500 to $5,000—and that includes everything: production, post-production, festival submissions, and marketing.

But it's not just about saving money. It's about saving time.

What this program actually replaces:

Film School$60,000 – $200,000

You'll learn more in 12 months of actually making a film than 4 years of classroom theory. Film schools accept 50,000 students per year for fewer than 2,000 entry-level studio positions—leaving 48,000 people with film theory, debt, and zero access points.

Years of Trial and ErrorPriceless

How much is it worth to skip the 12 years AJ wasted on screenplay competitions, pitch festivals, and chasing investors?

The "Climbing the Ladder" TrapYour Entire Career

You could spend the next decade as a PA hoping someone notices you. Or you could spend 90 days making proof that demands attention.

Endless Auditions & Workshops$10,000+

Actors spend thousands competing against 4,000 people for roles they don't even want. Or you could create the exact role you were born to play.

Screenplay Competitions & Pitch Festivals$5,000 – $50,000

50,000 scripts are registered annually. Only 6 spec scripts get purchased. The odds are designed to extract money from you, not launch your career.

Why This Program Is One-of-One

Let's be brutally honest about what else is out there.

Voyage Media$15,000+

They'll write your script for you. Then what? More money on marketing, podcasts, and development—with no clear path to actually getting your film made. A polished script and empty pockets.

Buffalo 8 & Industry "Connectors"$20,000+

They promise to connect you to their network. Except there's no track record of reliably getting films produced. You're paying for introductions and hope—not results.

High-End Consultants$20,000+

They'll take your money upfront to "connect you to their network" with zero guarantee. Most end up with a lighter bank account and the same problems.

Proof-of-Concept & Sizzle Reel Programs$5,000 – $15,000

You'll make reel footage to pitch your "real" project—but still won't have a viable path to making an actual feature.

Stage 32 & Online Course Platforms$500 – $5,000

Endless courses. Endless information. Zero access to actual decision-makers. You'll be the most educated filmmaker who never makes a film.

Mike — writer/director

Case Study

Mike Took Control After 35 Years Working Silently in the Background

Mike spent 35 years as a key grip—literally building other people's dreams while his own collected dust. He watched crews flip ambulances down streets 40 times for the "perfect shot" while his scripts sat in a drawer.

A year ago, he quit. He stopped taking calls as a grip. And he finally made his own film.

"I made it for $9,000. The same film, made the traditional way, would have cost me $300,000."— Mike, in his own words

Now the only calls he gets are as a writer/director.

Here's What Makes The Feature Film Accelerator Different

  • You actually make a feature film. Not a proof-of-concept. Not a sizzle reel. A finished feature film.
  • You keep 100% ownership. No investor splits. No creative control given away. Your film, your future.
  • You get a Hollywood-level team. Producers, editors, and industry veterans guiding YOUR project without taking a piece of it.
  • You get 117 live calls with AJ. Not a pre-recorded course—real coaching, every week, for a full year.
  • You build a repeatable process. The indie film flywheel that lets you make films whenever you want, for the rest of your career.
  • You get real results. 18 feature films completed in 18 months. 20+ more in production. This isn't theory—it's a proven system.

There is no other program that offers what we're offering. Period.

I Hear You Thinking…

"But I Don't Have Time for a Year-Long Program…"

When you hear "12-month program," you might be picturing college—rigid schedules, mandatory attendance, your life taken over by coursework. That's not what this is.

The entire program is online, accessible whenever your schedule allows. All calls and course materials live inside the Skool community. Can't make a live call? Watch the replay.

The real time commitment:

  • Weeks 1–13: 2–3 live calls per week (with replays) + 3–4 hours of focused work per week—in pockets of time you already have.
  • Production (Days 90–120): 5–12 days of shooting, scheduled around YOUR availability.
  • Post-Production (Months 5–12): 2 calls per week, working at your own pace with ongoing support.

Students have completed this program while working full-time jobs, raising children, and managing other businesses. The program is designed to fit your life, not consume it.

You're not going back to school. You're building a film career around the life you already have.

Silke — director

Case Study

Denied Opportunities for 20 Years—Until She Made Her Own Film

Silke was a script supervisor on one of Germany's biggest TV shows for 20 years. Film school. Award-winning shorts. The entire cast and crew signed a petition asking the studio to let her direct an episode. The studio said, "No. You don't have a feature film."

So she made one. Sunny premiered at Germany's largest indie festival, nominated for 5 awards. Before it was even finished, she booked two studio TV directing jobs.

A feature film was the only thing standing between her and the career she deserved.

James — filmmaker

Case Study

20 Years After Film School, He Finally Made His Feature

James graduated from film school and even won a Student DGA Award. But twenty years later, he still hadn't made his feature. He had the talent. He had the training. What he didn't have was accountability, mentorship, and a proven system.

Three months after joining the program, he had a finished script, a full cast and crew, and stepped on set to shoot his film.

This Isn't For Everyone

Let's be clear about who this program is for—and who it's not for.

✕  NOT for you if:

  • You're looking for a magic bullet or get-rich-quick scheme
  • You want someone to do the work for you
  • You're not willing to follow an unconventional, sometimes counterintuitive approach
  • You only want to make a $10M concept you've developed for 10 years
  • You just want to consume content without taking action

✓  FOR you if:

  • You're done waiting for permission and ready to bet on yourself
  • You're coachable and willing to start fresh with a new approach
  • You can commit 3–4 hours per week for the first 90 days
  • You're financially ready to invest in yourself and your film
  • You want a proven system, not theory and hope
  • You're serious about building a sustainable filmmaking career

We don't accept everyone who applies. This only works if you're truly ready to do the work. We protect the quality of our community by being selective about who we bring in.

How to Apply

Step 1

Complete the Application Quiz

This helps us understand your goals, constraints, and whether you're a good fit for the program.

Step 2

Book Your Strategy Call

If you're a potential fit, you'll book a call with our team. This isn't a high-pressure sales call—it's a diagnostic conversation to see if we can actually help you succeed. We'll map out your film concept (if you have one), determine if it fits the investorless framework, discuss your timeline, and answer your questions.

Step 3

Get Your Decision

If we're both confident this is the right fit, we'll invite you to join the next cohort. If not, we'll be honest about why and point you in a better direction.

The Choice Is Yours

You can keep doing what you've been doing: spending money on classes that don't lead anywhere, submitting to competitions designed to extract fees, auditioning for roles you don't even want, waiting for someone to notice you.

Or you can choose your hard.

Making a feature film is hard. But so is wasting another year—another decade—stuck in the same place, watching your dream slip further away. One kind of hard moves you forward. The other keeps you trapped.

  • Emily chose her hard. Now she's a festival award-winning filmmaker.
  • Mike chose his hard. After 35 years of building other people's dreams, he finally built his own.
  • Silke chose her hard. Now she's directing studio television.
  • James chose his hard. After 20 years of waiting, he's finally on set.

The filmmakers who succeed aren't more talented than you. They're not more connected. They don't have more money. They just decided to stop waiting.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I don't have a script idea yet?
Perfect. We actually prefer you come in with a clean slate. We'll help you identify the story that only you can tell—one designed around your artistic DNA and available resources. Most students who come in with pre-existing ideas end up pivoting to something more strategic anyway.
I'm not a writer. Can I still do this?
Absolutely. Many of our students had never written a script before. We provide the Story Circle system and OGF AI's development tools, so you'll have everything you need to craft a compelling story.
What if I can't make the live calls?
Every call is recorded and available for replay inside the community. While we encourage live attendance for accountability and real-time feedback, we understand life happens. As long as you hit your milestones, you're on track.
I'm not in the U.S. Can I still join?
Yes! We have students from around the world. The program is entirely online, and the principles work regardless of location. Silke is in Germany. The system is universal.
What if I've already started a script?
We'll evaluate it on the strategy call. If it fits the investorless framework, great—we'll help you refine it. If it's too expensive or complex, we'll help you find a bridge concept that gets you to that bigger film faster.
Do I need my own equipment?
Not necessarily. We'll show you how to find high-quality crew members who own their own gear, so you don't have to source it or learn how to use it. We'll help you work with what you have or can access through your network.
What genres work best for this?
Character-driven stories work best: drama, thriller, horror, dark comedy. High-concept sci-fi or action films with heavy VFX typically don't fit the model. We'll discuss your specific concept on the call.
What happens after I finish my film?
Your first year includes full access to the alumni community and ongoing collaboration opportunities, with discounted annual renewals after that. Many students immediately start developing their second feature with bigger resources, using the relationships and proof from their first film.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes, payment plans are available for qualified applicants. We'll discuss options on your strategy call.
What if I don't finish in 12 months?
Post-production timelines can vary based on your collaborators' availability and your film's complexity. While most students finish within 12 months, you'll have continued access to the community and support until your film is complete.

One Last Thing…

You've read this far, which means something in you knows this is different. You've felt that pull toward something bigger. You've also felt the doubt—the voice that says "who am I to think I can do this?"

The doubt never goes away. You just learn to move forward despite it.

Emily had doubt. Mike had doubt. Silke had doubt. They moved forward anyway. And now they're filmmakers. Not aspiring. Not someday. Now.

The question isn't whether you're ready. The question is whether you're willing to become ready by doing the thing that scares you.

Your film is waiting for you to make it. It's been waiting long enough.
